FRESH BAKED SANDWICH ROLLS/CHEESE BUNS EVERY SATURDAY

Posted by: Laurel In: Bakery News

We bake fresh sandwich rolls/cheese buns available for pick up at our Tigard location every Saturday.  We are open from 10am – 4pm each Saturday.  These buns are also on the menu at Corbett Fish House and Hawthorne Fish House here in Portland.  Retail purchases can also be made at Lingonberries Market in Vancouver, WA and Low Carb Nation in Lake Oswego, OR.  For our long distance customers, they can be duplicated with the Dinner Roll Mix.

These are excellent for hamburgers, paninis, lunch box, toasted egg sandwiches in the morning.  They hold up through travel, freezer and lunch bags (my kids no longer eat a sandwich with a spoon out of ziploc).  Call, email or just drop in to have a taste test.  More products are available in our small retail shop including:  Black Horse Sauces, New Traditions Baking – gluten-free/dairy free/nut free cheesecakes and decorating tools.  Stop by on Saturdays at 8172 SW Durham Road, Tigard, OR  97224  503-443-3803

Hi Laurel,
My name is Brian. My wife is celiac and we used to buy cakes and treats from you when you sold them out of your home years ago. In fact you made a small GF wedding cake for my wife and I. Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I have a gluten free blog now and I’m about to post a review of your “Mom’s Chocolate Cake Mix” soon. I’ll let you know when I post the review. I hope things are going well for you. We love your mixes.
Take care,
Brian

If I’m ever in Portland, I will definitely make a trip to go get some of your freshly-baked stuff! My friend got my your chocolate cake mix last year for my birthday. It was one of the best cakes I have ever had…and not just gluten-free ones! I made a mint-chocolate icing and served the cake to my friends and family at the party. They never knew the difference, and said they loved it. They ate the whole thing really fast! Thanks for the great mix.

My 30 year old daughter was recently diagnosed with gluten intolerance. We were visiting in Tigard, OR. (What a nice place!) My son-in-law to be found your shop and bought a package of cheese buns for a picnic in the wine country- They were wondeerful-untoasted! We all ate them. I am really sad to find that you don’t ship them. I will try the mix and hope the recipe is on the package. Sadly, I don’t live near my daughter and she works so many hours she doesn’t have time to bake very often. Please let me know if you ever figure out a way to ship them- Thank you

Do you make any dairy-free products? In addition to gluten intolerance, I now need to avoid dairy and soy. I have been having good luck with substituting rice, almond and hazelnut milks.
Thx

Hi,
Yes we make all our bread products with Pacific Rice Milk. There is dairy in products with the white chocolate chips and the cheese buns. Soy is in the cupcake frosting and the choc chips. We can make custom cakes soy free as well as egg free. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
