Laurel's Gourmet Chocolate Cookie Mix
Reese's (TM) Peanut Butter Cups (or crushed pieces from baking section of
grocery store)
3/4 cup shortening (or butter or margarine)
3 eggs
Blend eggs and shortening together. Add chocolate cookie mix slowly and blend
until all mixed together. Fold the Peanut Butter Cups in by hand until well
mixed.
Bake at 350 F for 12 - 14 minutes (less for chewy cookies, more for crunchy
cookies). Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes on pans. Use a
spatula to move to a cooling rack and allow to cool completely.
Store in an airtight container or resealable bag for 2-3 days on the counter.
These freeze great for lunches and travel.
Warning:
Do not leave them around your friends and family, these are the fastest cookies
to get eaten! (the non-gluten free people may take them all!!)
