Cream Cheese Frosting
One package (8 oz) cream cheese
1/3 cup butter (softened)
3 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
Blend cream cheese and butter together. Add vanilla and lemon juice (if desired)
and 1 cup of powdered sugar. Mix until blended. Add each cup of powdered sugar
until blended. Whip until light and fluffy.
This will frost a single layer 9" cake or 12 cupcakes.
