Recipes | Laurel's Roll 'em Out Caramel Cookies
Here is an easy recipe to create a caramel, chocolate center using Roll ‘Em Out
Sugar Cookies.
You will need:
1 package of Laurel’s Sweet Treats Roll ‘Em Out Sugar Cookie® mix
2 – 3 packages of Hershey’s Rolo® Caramel Chocolates
Mix the Sugar Cookie mix according to the directions on the package. Scoop dough
with a small spoon or pinch equal size balls out of mixing bowl. Slightly
flatten the dough and put a Rolo® candy into the middle. Mold the dough around
the candy to make sure it is completely sealed inside the cookie.
Place cookies onto cookie sheet and bake in a 350ºF oven for 12-15 minutes (oven
temperatures vary).
I recommend placing parchment paper on the baking sheets as it helps baked goods
heat evenly and makes clean up very simple. Baking stones also make cookies and
pizza crusts cook evenly without browning on the bottom.
